About

The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (FHCF) was created in November 1993 during a special legislative session after Hurricane Andrew. The purpose of the FHCF is to protect and advance the state's interest in maintaining insurance capacity in Florida by providing reimbursements to insurers for a portion of their catastrophic hurricane losses.

Thank you for visiting the FHCF website. We have designed this site to provide participating insurers and other interested parties with commonly requested public information.

This website provides users access to documents for both current and previous years, Advisory Council Meeting materials, and other information that may help our users develop an understanding of the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.

We appreciate your support of this site. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us.
